The MMWW Consortium began as an insurance initiative, aimed at meeting the needs of migrant workers in the Middle East, and was initially implemented in Sri Lanka. Due to its success, the project is now being introduced to other Asian countries that have large populations of migrant workers residing in the Middle East. With the United Arab Emirates serving as a globally recognized trade hub, the MMWW Consortium has expanded its focus to include other business opportunities, such as trade, investment in renewable energy and agriculture, and project consultancy, among others. The consortium has leveraged its base in the UAE to explore and capitalize on new business ventures, expanding its reach and impact beyond its initial insurance project.
